About Scalvant

We don’t advise from the sidelines. We build from inside.

Scalvant was founded by Aivars Belis and Inga Reimane-Bele — partners in every sense, bringing more than fifty combined years across payment technology, business analysis, and product leadership. We started Scalvant to put that experience directly to work for organisations that need it: not as advisors watching from the sidelines, but as a team that stays involved from the first idea through to what actually gets built. Roberts Belis joined the founding team early on, bringing the instincts of a generation that grew up building with AI as a default tool, not an afterthought.

AIVARS BELIS

The CTO Founders and Boards Call In at the Turning Point

Over the past decade, he’s repeatedly stepped into technology leadership at the exact moments that make or break a growth-stage fintech: building a regulated platform from a business idea through to a live licence and its first institutional backers. Guiding a company’s technology function through successive funding rounds, alongside a major infrastructure acquisition. Taking a stalled platform from advisory input to full delivery against investor milestones within months. Winding down a legacy regulated business and rebuilding an entirely new platform in its place — progressing multiple regulatory licences in parallel — while the company moved toward institutional investment.

Four different companies, four different starting points. One consistent thread: technology delivery timed to unlock the next stage of capital.

INGA REIMANE-BELE

Making Sure Everyone Is Solving the Same Problem Before It Hardens Into Code

Behind every technical requirement is a group of people who have to agree on what it actually means — and that’s usually where things go wrong long before the code does. Inga has spent over twenty years making sure they don’t: turning half-formed business ideas into requirements precise enough for engineers to build against, and clear enough for a sales team to actually sell.

With a Master’s in Management Psychology & Supervision and certification in business coaching and organisational systemic work, she reads the dynamics inside a team or client relationship as carefully as she reads a requirements document — spotting where assumptions are misaligned, or where the loudest voice in the room isn’t the one that matters most.

At Scalvant, that’s the other half of the partnership: Aivars shapes what’s technically right. Inga makes sure the people around the idea — the team building it, the customers buying it — are actually aligned on what “right” means.

ROBERTS BELIS

Building With AI as the Default, Not the Afterthought

Roberts grew up assuming technology should remove friction, not add it — an assumption that shapes how he builds. Repetitive work gets automated. Manual steps get questioned. AI is a default tool, not a novelty, used deliberately rather than for its own sake.

He spent two years building AI-integrated solutions alongside Aivars before joining Scalvant full-time — long enough for Aivars, who doesn’t impress easily, to be genuinely caught off guard more than once by both the speed and the judgment behind it.

What he brings isn’t just fluency with current tools. It’s a live answer to a question every client eventually asks: what would someone building this today, with no legacy assumptions to unlearn, actually do differently?

Together: an idea that stays coherent from the first conversation to the customer who buys it — with the technical depth, and the technical talent, to build it right.

Scale the Extraordinary.

We don’t believe great outcomes come from great ideas alone. They come from architecture-grade thinking applied without compromise, the discipline to stress-test every assumption underneath it, and the partnership to stay through delivery — from the first conversation to the system running in production.
